Ms. Krause

Early Education Teaching Fellow

Ms. Krause received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She received her teaching certification in New Jersey, where she started her career at The Goddard School in Princeton after student teaching. Ms. Krause was a PreK instructor at the Goddard School responsible for an entire class of students and in charge of all lesson planning. 

 

After Goddard, she joined Knowledge Beginnings also in Princeton focused on small class instruction to grow a growth mindset and develop differentiated instruction. While at Knowledge Beginnings, Ms. Krause designed lesson plans incorporating music, art, and physical activity into regular core instruction, helping students retain some of the more difficult concepts.

 

Ms. Krause looks forward to joining the BASIS Curriculum network of schools and continuing to empower students to develop a growth mindset that will allow them to be more willing to take on challenges and accept setbacks as a normal part of the learning process.
