One of his goals this year is to invite students to explore why music is so powerful, and how we can express our emotions through different elements of song.
Mr. Ingels choose BASIS Independent Brooklyn is for its dedication to teacher autonomy in the classroom. It encourages creative pedagogy and collaboration between students and staff to create an enriching and engaging learning environment. He also is excited by the school’s strong support for the arts as a core element in a well-balanced education.
When not in the classroom, Mr. Ingels enjoys relaxing at home, riding his bike, and discovering new corners of New York City.
