Ms. Scott graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a minor in child & adolescent mental health studies.
Ms. Scott comes to BASIS Independent Brooklyn with more than six years of experience helping NYC area families make informed educational decisions. Prior to joining the BASIS Independent team, she oversaw the NYC standardized test private-tutoring market at The Princeton Review and acted as an admissions consultant for prospective high school and college students while at Sentia Education.
As Director of Admissions, Ms. Scott’s goals are to make the admissions process as stress-free as possible, gain insight into each applicant’s unique personality, and to educate families on the many reasons why the BASIS Independent Brooklyn community and curriculum are so fantastic.
A current resident of Park Slope, Ms. Scott can often be found taking her dogs to Prospect Park, reading a book, checking out a new yoga studio, and endeavoring to find the best ramen in all of New York.
