Ms. Gonzalez received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in international marketing from Pace University. After graduation she worked in media buying, performing data analysis and project support before being drawn to the education sector for a greater sense of community. She has worked in a variety of education administrative support roles for the past six years before joining BASIS Independent Brooklyn team as Registrar in 2016.
Now in her current role as Curriculum Coordinator, Ms. Gonzalez is thrilled to work amongst some of the most committed, astute, and enthusiastic individuals in the education world.
“BASIS Independent Brooklyn's rich and challenging academic program inspires its students to reach beyond their immediate abilities and vantage points and strive toward becoming talented, creative citizens of the world. It’s exciting to be a part of that journey,” said Ms. Gonzalez when asked why she was drawn to the school.
When not on campus, Ms. Gonzalez enjoys traveling abroad whenever she has the opportunity. When she’s here in New York City you can often find her wandering about, discovering new parts of this city, catching a live music show or otherwise at home reading or watching a movie with her pup.
