General Information Sessions: Information Sessions provide an introduction to our school's program including philosophy, mission, curriculum and extracurriculars. We also offer specific sessions focused on our Early Learning Program and Primary School (PreKindergarten–grade 4) and Upper School (grades 5–12). Hosting all Information Sessions is our Head of School, who will be joined by members of our Admissions team and faculty. Information Sessions are followed by an short facility tour.
Open Houses: Our Open Houses are designed to provide a full, immersive overview of the BASIS Independent Brooklyn program. At these events, members of our teaching faculty will be available for a "Meet & Greet" and to share their vision of the classroom. Prospective families will also have the opportunity to meet school leadership, explore our facility, and hear from current students and parents about their experience with our program.
Teacher Panels: These events feature a panel of teachers from across our PreK–Grade 12 faculty, and are moderated by our Head of School. You will receive a comprehensive overview about the BASIS Curriculum, what make BASIS Independent Brooklyn unique, and what BASIS Independent kids can do with the right mix of passion, care, and focus. These panels are a chance to learn about the BASIS Independent classroom from the people who know it best: our teachers.
Tours: We offer guided tours during school hours for prospective families and applicants to see our classrooms in action. Register for a tour.
