The End
Welcome to my final blog post!
I am very sad that my senior project is coming to an end, however, this was only the beginning of my studies for my future occupation. I had a lot of fun speaking to different people and interviewing them. They gave me new insight into the justice system as well as allowed me to create new connections to people I can reference in the future.
If you’re wondering what my main takeaway was from this experience, I’d say it would have to be that we’ve made progress, but Black youth still aren’t being effectively served. I am hoping that through my work and my ability to now focus primarily on the issues at hand that I will be attending college in the fall, I will be able to be the change I want to see in the world.
Here’s the pdf to my final presentation.
Also, below you can find a video recording from the actual day of my presentation! If you were unable to attend, you can watch it here:
I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who helped me during this project. It wasn’t easy especially with the current state of our world but I was able to stay motivated and for that, I say thank you! I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my life at Spelman College in the fall.
Please stay safe and healthy!
