Ms. Lai said that she when first met students during her initial visit to BASIS Independent Brooklyn, she could feel their excitement and eagerness to master Mandarin. She could tell they wanted to challenge themselves, and that was when she knew she wanted to join our faculty.
Ms. Lai enjoys cooking, hiking, and traveling in her spare time.
