Facilities Coordinator

Mr. Wallschlaeger grew up in central Wisconsin, and attended University of Wisconsin Marathon Center (UWMC), where he majored in Psychology. While there he received the Congressmen David Obey Leadership Award, the UWMC Citizen Award, UW August Derleth Award for Creative Writing as well as being published as first author in Current Phycology on the topic of Dyslexic research. Later, Mr. Wallschlaeger returned to work as their campus Student Life and Residence Hall Director. He spent three years in the Marine Corps reserve, lived in Istanbul, and dealt Blackjack at a casino on a Mohican reservation. While starting his own business, which he ran for ten years, Michael took time to help with the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. He is still active in community emergency response groups.
